Honoring President Lincoln’s signing of the 13th Amendment on February 1st, 1865, these impressive Fine Silver Bars enshrine one of the cornerstones of constitutional rights and are without a doubt Masterpieces of lasting value and worth. On January 31, 1865, the US House of Representatives passed their portion of a joint-resolution that would eventually become the 13th Amendment to the Constitution – abolishing slavery in the United States. The following morning, on February 1st, the Resolution was placed on President Abraham Lincoln’s desk – on which we signed his name and wrote “Approved” marking it the only Amendment with a Presidential signature (though his signature was not necessary in the Amendment process). \n \n
